Here’s a simple homemade rat trap that works like magic using just what you already have at home. NEEDS 1 Wire net to cover the bucket and hold a pipe 1 deep plastic bucket (white and transparent works well) 1 small pipe or bottle neck (inserted into the side or top of the bucket) 1 long stick or rope (acts as a climbing path for the rats) Food as bait (e.g. maize, peanuts, dried fish or anything attractive to rats) How It Works : The rats are attracted by the smell of food inside the bucket.
